Labor Day Trip Ideas

By admin Chartering A Bus, Transportation No Comments

Although it may seem like summer will never end, especially on these 90 degree or higher days, Labor Day will be here before you know it. Our Atlanta bus drivers encourage you to start planning your Labor Day trip now so that you will have everything booked and ready before the back-to-school rush takes over your life.

Make the Most of Your Vacation

For most families, Labor Day is the last real chance to get away until the Thanksgiving holiday. School and work make our lives busy once fall arrives, and before we know it, it’s November and months have gone by without a real vacation. For that reason, our Atlanta bus charter drivers encourage you to really make the most out of your vacation, wherever you choose to go.

Hit the Beach

The weather over the Labor Day weekend is almost always just right for relaxing at the beach. It’s still good and warm, but the true scorcher days of summer have started to fade. Myrtle Beach, Tybee Island and Panama City Beach are all favorites for our Atlanta bus rental customers. If you want a bit of shopping and sophistication added to your beach trip, we recommend considering Charleston or Savannah, both of which are famous for their food, shopping and great Southern culture.

Cool Off in the Mountains

Atlanta is just south of the Appalachian Mountain foothills, and many residents choose to head to the mountains for the perfect Labor Day getaway. The farther north you go in the Appalachians, the steeper and more beautiful the range becomes, making it perfect for hiking and sightseeing. Consider getting a charter bus in Atlanta, Ga., and driving north along the range, stopping every so often to take in some of the spectacular views or spend a day along the Appalachian Trail.

Road Trip!

Labor Day is the perfect time to gather your friends and family together, hire a school bus rental in Atlanta and head out on the most quintessential of all American trips: the classic road trip. Spend a few days exploring this great land of ours from the comfort of your charter bus, taking time to stop and enjoy the sights and diverse cities along the way. If you have the time, one of our absolute favorite trips is to head west to visit the Grand Canyon or Yosemite National Park. You can’t beat the views, and you can’t beat the luxury of not having to drive yourself!
